How to use mastodon on mic.ourch.at

It works much like twitter, but with a few quirks and limitations.

Limitations

• Posts from other servers won't backfill, with the exception of pinned posts. You will only get posts from the time you subscribe onward.
• When you edit or delete posts, it might take a bit of time for those commands to reach other servers, which won't be totally synchronous.
• Mastodon does not support ephemeral/temporary posts. This is annoying to me because I feel that "stories" are an important part of the social media experience that's missing from the fediverse, (with the exception of servers running Pixelfed, but it's limited).
